Two Things Not Even God Can Do | David Asscherick

Explore two things that are impossible for God. Understand why God’s omnipotence has limits set by His own character and laws. First, discover from Hebrews 10:4 (“it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins”) and the story of Gethsemane that God cannot save anyone apart from the blood of Jesus Christ. Learn why no finite sacrifice—not even an angel’s life—could atone for sin, making Christ’s sacrifice the “no other way.” Second, discover from Hebrews 11:6 (“without faith it is impossible to please Him”) that God cannot save you apart from your personal faith in that sacrifice. Grasp how faith is the essential bridge that connects us to the historical fact of Christ’s atonement.
