The Great Controversy | David Asscherick

Explore the origin of evil and the “Great Controversy” between Christ and Satan. Start in Genesis 1, where God declared everything “very good,” establishing He is not the source of evil. Follow the evidence through the parable of the Wheat and the Tares (Matthew 13), where Jesus insists, “An enemy has done this.” Identify this enemy, Satan, by examining his fall from a perfect angel (Ezekiel 28) driven by pride (“I will… be like the Most High” – Isaiah 14). Understand why God permitted this rebellion: His government is based on love, and love, by its very nature, cannot be forced or coerced.
